Last weekend the Fish4Junk team visited the Yellow Vintage Fair at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
What a great day!
This fair encompasses everything we love about the vintage scene at the moment. There were live bands, classic cars, vintage clothing, vintage and retro homeware, vintage furniture, vintage dodgems… basically everything you could want!
All the stallholders we met were really friendly and despite the bitterly cold weather, were all in fine spirits. Prices were all very reasonable and we even made a couple of purchases for ourselves.
There were stalls inside and out and there was even a vintage barbershop set up in the courtyard.
Our boys loved the homemade cakes and retro sweets. We loved chatting to dealers and checking out their wares.
I (Mrs Fish) even got a go on the microphone with one of the singers who was performing (well actually the microphone was surprisingly thrust in my face – I think I was sort of in tune..!)
We are looking forward the next Yellow Vintage Fair at the Ageas Bowl in the Spring and we may even have a stall there. Keep an eye on our blog for dates on where we’ll be. If you can't wait till Spring, then check out our online shop for some great vintage items.
Love from the Fish4Junk team x
